About

One sunny summer day, my sister and I sat down and read a couple of our parents’ letters that were written during World War II.  We were so moved, we decided to sort through them all, putting them in order and start from the start. We found pictures in some of the letters and some in an old album that we were able to match to letters by the date. We read each and every letter, sometimes more than once.

There is so much love and passion, humor and seriousness, compassion and understanding between them  We sometimes had to stop and take a breath while we read their letters. We then decided to share these letters and pictures with you. In doing so, we also added links to songs, programs, and stories they mention. We hope you red along and enjoy yourself.

Many times our father signed his letters “All the love I have I give to you’’. It is with the sharing of these letters we say to you, our family, friends and loved ones “All the love we have, we give to you.”
